Roof Lanterns & Skylights for St Albans homes and sites
A roof lantern is sized to the kerb it sits on, not to the room — so the kerb needs to be built square and to a known size before the lantern is ordered.
We supply roof lanterns & skylights across the AL postcode area and the rest of Hertfordshire, including Harpenden (5 miles due north), Watford (7 miles south-south-west) and Barnet (9 miles south-east).We supply and deliver — your own installer or builder does the fitting.
St Albans carries a lot of period and conservation-area stock, so colour and section profile tend to matter more here than raw specification. RAL colours and heritage-style doors are both available — check with the local planning office before you order.

Roof Lanterns & Skylights in St Albans — questions we get asked
What size kerb do I need for a roof lantern in St Albans?
Build the kerb to suit the room, then order the lantern to the kerb's finished external dimensions. Getting the kerb square and accurately measured matters more than anything else.
Do roof lanterns cause overheating?
They can if the glass is wrong for the orientation. Solar-control glazing is available, and it's worth specifying on a south-facing roof.
What's the lead time for roof lanterns & skylights in St Albans?
Around 3 weeks from confirmed sizes — the same wherever you are. St Albans is about 150 miles south-south-east of our Leeds factory, and every order is delivered on our own fleet, to a fixed date confirmed when you order.
Do you offer trade prices on roof lanterns & skylights in St Albans?
Yes. Installers, builders and fabricators across the AL area — St Albans, Harpenden, Watford and Barnet — can open a trade account: manufacturer-direct pricing, no minimum order value and a dedicated account manager.
